Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. Shortly after being treated with Gardasil I developed strange cognitive issues, joint pain, bone pain, chronic fatigue, and many other symptoms. Recently these finally lead to a diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disorder called scleroderma or CREST syndrome. I have no family history of autoimmunity and there are others who have developed other similar illnesses like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. Definitely do not get these shots if you have a predisposition for autoimmune disease.

I find that Avil is a great pain reliever when my ankle is swoleen and in pain from the surgury that I had in October. I only take it as needed for pain and find that when I do take it; it is very effective
