The drug is highly effective and considered low risk. However, I tend to take medication only if it is really required. Otherwise, I try to avoid it if I can resist the fever/pain.

I found that if I just take my vitamins everyday and drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits and veggies I'm better off than the side effects and little positive effect I got from Prozac.

I use metofrmin in combination with glyburide, otherwise it won't work. Metformin for me cannot work alone. Right now, I can't take it because I don't have glyburide, so i use Diabenese instead.

I think it is a great medication that really helped me quit after almost 30 years smoking. But the first step to be successful is to really want to quit and then Chantix will help with the effects of withdrawal. In my case the side effects were not strong enough to take me out of the path to reach my goal. It is worth it to try.

Three separate times, I have overdosed on fluoxetine because I was feeling depressed or anxious. The first time I took a 150% dose, and it just made me feel extremely anxious and weird; I cried a lot. A year later, I took 200% dose, and I barely noticed a difference. The next day I took 300% dose, and I was afraid of what it would do to me, so I threw it up. Don't overdose on this stuff.

I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier.
