My depression has lifted significantly, but not enough to say I think this is a great med for me. I've gained 10 pounds, have frequent bad headaches and believe that my vision has deteriorated. I am much more irritable and intense. I had great success with Prozac for many years and then it just pooped out. Since then I have been on just about every depression med. HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.

For me Lexapro was of great help. It reduced my major depression and obsessions significantly. Lexapro is much better than Paroxetine, Duloxetine in terms of sideffects (both of which have so much sideffects atleast for me). Paxil and duloxetine have many bad reports from users. Best to start with Lexapro, Sertraline Or Fluxetine. These have been shown to be most safer for all in general
