I didn't really notice much of a difference once on paxil. However, the side effects were noticeable. My sex drive significantly decreased to a point where I decided to stop taking paxil.

The initial hair loss was much more than I expected - probably half my hair if I judged by the thickness of my ponytail and lasted longer than expected probably 9 months from the start of my taking it. I didn't notice it too much for the first 4-5 months but I was also taking prednisone then. After I stopped the prednisone about 6 months in with the Imuran the hair loss became pronounced. Benadryl is a great medicine to stop an allergic reaction. I take the 12.5 childrens grape chewables and usually only need to take one to stop my reaction. The only downfall is it makes me a little sleepy

I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. I'm an athlete and I've realized days that I happen to drink green tea, I am a lot more dehydrated out on the track. I'm not sure if there is causation between green tea and dehydration, but there is certainly a correlation there.
