Since beginning Celexa, I have noticed a great improvement in anxiety levels and pre-menstrual agitation prior to menstruation. It seems that I have more patience overall feel more relaxed in tense situations. I noticed the changes within two weeks of taking the medication. Androgel has reduced (to almost eliminated)---the "low level" blues I've been experiencing. However, since I started it (along side another drug)--I've had *EXTREME* fatigue. (to the point of sleeping 24-48 hours STRAIGHT--with only waking up for bathroom breaks). A Drug Rep suggested I up my dosage, I'm waiting to see the Doctor to do this. My doc and I are still trying to work out the right dose to combat the sleepiness that my antidepressants cause (I've tried many - all make me sleepy). On 75mg, I can get through the day but am exhausted at night when it wears off. On 150mg, I feel fantastic - have tons of energy, am happier, a little less hungry (which is great considering the weight gain that's happened with trying so many antidepressants), but I lay awake at night for hours. I really appreciate this drug, and the effect it has on my blood pressure. It works really fast, and I can feel the change. It also releases my headache when I use it, and sometimes I even forget to take it in the morning, but it has no noticeable side effects for that. I would recommentd this drug to anyone.
