Ortho Tri-Cyclen has been a very successful birth control with nearly no negative side effects. The only complaint I have had was when I began the treatment I gained some weight from it, however, I know that is common when starting a birth control pill.

Doctors changed me from generic Levo to Tirosint. Was fine for the first 6 weeks. At the 6 week mark began to experience pain in my foot which became severe nerve pain, numbness, and tingling in both feet over the course of a 3 weeks. The nerve pain in feet has subsided some, but at the 9-10 week mark began to feel pain when sitting or bending right knee. Even though i have experienced lots of side effects i could not have continued in the amount of pain i was in before taking them .Im also taking Tramadol and Naproxen which all have some of the same side effects. However, i can function day to day as i have got used to some of the side effects
