At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. I found a doctor in May 2008 who prescribed Armour. But since have been hypothyroid for so long and mistreated with synthroid, I developed adrenal fatigue. So far after taking just 3 doses I do not really like the medication. It makes me feel really strange. I get dizzy and lightheaded. I take this drug because I have pressure headaches (idiopathic intercranial hypertension) I have had this condition before when I was a teenager and now as an adult I have it again. Hope this drug works have been dealing with this since Feb of 210 and it is now July.
