Have been on this for about 2 years now, it was a bit rough the first month, but each month got better. By the third month I felt normal. Had a bit of nausea during that time, but never threw up. No longer have irregular periods, and now they are much shorter and I don't feel sick when I have them. It worked well at first but I am having a rebound effect of heartburn now. I need to see thdoctor. I have read recently that keeping your stomach acid down can contribute to other bacteria building up in the stomach.

On mornings where my eyes won't open I pop in a reditab and within an hour the allergies go away and my eyes don't ithc. It does make me thirsty for awhile afterwards but I jsut carry a bottle of water with me anyways.

I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier.
