My 23 year old daughter had her first gardasil shot in March 2009. Within 12 hours she suffered left sided weakness, resperitory distress and a severe muscle type seizure and was in the hospital. She still is suffering from severe muscle spasms, cognitive impairment and needs to take Klonopin on a daily basis. I've been on sandomigran for at least 3 years now. I recently went up to 3 per day but it's not working. It worked really well for ages but no longer and the side effects are getting harder to tolerate. I find they have incresased on the higher dose so I am going back to the neurologist to see if there is an alternative. I've tried lots of other meds though. Hopefully there is something out there that can help.

Although this medication works well for my hypertension, it usually gives me shoulder pain and because of that, I can't lift my arm up. Also, I have leg pain sometimes and can't stnad up once I sit down. Stiff leg. I take it in combination with amlodipine.

I take Tums because I like the taste and although I am not low on calcium, I consider them safe as a calcium supplement- if taken as directed. They work for indigestion, too, but if I take one on an empty stomach I get stomach pains.
