I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.

I am taking Meloxicam for disc degeneration L4-L5 -disc buldge putting pressure on nerve. Since taking this medication I have started to have trouble with Sciatica. It appears that Meloxicam is not reducing the inflammation as well as Celebrex. Unfortunately, I cannot take Celebrex due to a sensitivity to the medication (hive reaction). Meloxicam is also causing dizziness and constipation as well as insomnia.

I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I am 28 years old, and just had my first abnormal pap ever after having these injections. Upon further testing, I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (not sure of the exact strain). Sever rash sometimes occurs around the 9th day of treatment, it clears within 10 days following. Found it increased my total cholesterol mildly. Took 8 months on this drug to reach undetectable.
