My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. Micardis causes short term memory loss. Restless legs, blurry eyes Night urination and weight increase. Supplements cannot be taken with Micardis as they react in causing blood pressure to elevate. Vaginal thrush was very severe itchy and painful, and i used yogurt for a couple of days, the only relief i got was the cooling effect of the yogurt however it did not do anything for the thrush infection (it seemed to make it worse or not better at all) and therefore had to use gyno-daktarin instead.
