I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. Theraflu is very good. I take it when I cannot access Nyquil, but it still does the job. If you do not have time to sleep it off, then do not take it.

As I said before, I used this medication for my back pain, and it really worked, it relieved my back and helped me having a better sleep time. I really appreciated it. But I had to use it in combinayion with paracetamol.

The medication has really helped clear up my roscea but at the expense of my digestive system. I already had IBS with diahhrea and recently had gallbladder surgery so when the diahhrea become worse I blamed it on the surgery but was confused because I didn't notice it to be any worse directly after surgery. It finally hit me that I had resumed Doxycycline Hyclate a few weeks after surgery and after looking up side affects, I now believe the worsing symptoms could very well be the medication.... Bactrim DS in the pill form has worked best for me. However, the cream is usually sufficient, it just takes longer than the pill to clear up.
