Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight. I take 2g per day for pseudotumor cerebri, so I know that is a lot. Diamox has helped my high pressure headaches and helped keep most of the PTC symptoms at bay, however, it does have some issues of its own. Before I began taking a potassium supplement, my energy level was greatly decreased, my blood pressure was EXTREMELY low (about 86/50) on a regular basis and I would experience leg cramps as well as stabbing pains in both my feet and my hands.
