I developed a skin rash that I went to my Dr about they did not think it was from the medication. It was round patches all over my chest and stomach and a couple around my eyes. I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.

I take my prednisone when I am having an asthma flare which is rare, but the medicine does help tremendously whithin 1 to 2 days

I turned 65 this July 28. Five years ago I had, and used weekly, a fitness club membership. I went Kayaking, camping, fishing, walking, played volleyball, and hosted/attended a variety of writing/poetry venues. Hard to say how it would affect others. Took 18 months to control my anxiety. But it works, and keeps on working. Sadly I have lost passions for films, friends, girlfriends, and sports since taking Sertraline. It does work, but there is a price to pay
