Taken as needed (once every month or 2) for anxiety and tremors of the hand. Has made me confident to do things I would never imagine being able to do in the past. I feel like I can function as a normal human being now. I feel no side effects after taking it except for mild fatigue the next day while working out.

I would strongly discourage women with anxiety and/or depression from taking this pill. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years, which is kept in check by medication, however by week three of my first pack of this pill, I experienced depression so severe that I did nothing but sleep and cry for a week. As if that were bad enough, I went through two weeks of daily panic attacks which sent me to urgent care twice and eventually to a counselor to eliminate them. Please tell your doct... I have been taking this medication for about 10 years and I like the results. I had kidney stones for about 4 to 5 episodes in the last 30 years and ever since i was on the Allopurinol I haven't had any kidney stones and I have really enjoyed that !!!

This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through.
