My daughter got her first injection at age 20. Eleven days later she began having pelvic discomfort like a bladder infection. This and periodic anxiety continued for four months. after 3 surgeries due to a ruptured disc which didn't work, including the installation of neurostimulator, I had been put on about evry possible pain med. I disliked the side effects of Oxycontin,Vicodin and Percocet and thought I was screwed but after moving and going to a new Dr. who put me on Opana ER I was finally able to find relief and cut down on the number of pills I had to take avery day as well as eliminating the Tylenol which is bad for your liver. Lupron Depot was presented to me after my laparoscpy as a means to continue to heal my body from my fibroids and endometriosis. I was convinced by my doctor that this was the normal treatment and this would increase my odds for pregnancy and reduce my pain for 3-5 years.. So far, it's been a pretty effective acne medication gel. I use it as needed-whenever I get pimples. It helps dry up acne spots and clears the skin pretty quickly. Only con is that it drys out the skin , so I have to make sure to use moisturizer.

It got me out of a severe depressive episode, for which I am grateful. However, I still experience bouts of depression, often in the afternoon. So it is likely not a long term solution for me.
