Lolav, I find that for sleep the alternative therapies work better and with less side effects then the pharmaceutical approach. I suggest you check with a health food store to see what they recommend. Valerian is good and so is just plain old hot milk before bed. There are stronger Ayurvedic or Chinese herbs that you can Google- some are common and some you have to go to India for. My blood pressure has increased after 20 days of Micardis. It went to dangerous level when checked by the Company nurse (191/97) The highest ever for me.

I am happy with it, don't get me wrong, but I just wish I wouldn't have become another person to not get panic attacks. I've gotten a really bad short term memory, and numb feelings. I get confused a lot too, not knowing what to chose, or what to do, periods like that, not really all the time.
