My doctor recently switched me from pravastatin to simvastatin, since - despite weight loss and adding regular exercise and fish oil - my total cholesterol levels began to rise again. One supplement you should always take if you are on any of the statin drugs is Coenzyme Q10, as statins can deplete this nutrient from your body and cause muscle damage and worse. I was on a variety of different fertility drugs for about 2 1/2 years. Decided that I didn't like the side effects of being on them, so I stopped taking all fertility drugs at once.
