This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. This time in addition to the normal dry skin, lips, and increased thirst, I have dry eyes and a dry nose that bleeds frequently if I do not use the nasal gel to moisten it. These side effects are well wo... View full comment

Completely loved the convienience of the NuvaRing, seemed that every month the side effects got progressively worse, started out with a headache that lasted a week, then each month I would get a headache the day I would put a new ring in, eventually I ended up with severe diarrhea that I couldnt even eat and left me with horrible abdominal cramping. The day I took the ring out, diarrhea was gone. Haven't gone back on it since, but wish I could because I did love it the first 3 months, had zer... View full comment

I have experienced severe anxiety and depression, coupled with incessant coughing and difficulty breathing. The joint pain has been unbearable. I would wake up at night feeling as though I was being tortured, in too much pain to even turn over. I now take the 25mg dosage on alternate days and that has reduced the side effects to just tolerable. I would still say that I have a greatly diminished quality of life but having had a recurrence after 6 years in remission I am going to try to sol... View full comment

I just started pristiq and have taken wellbutrin (450 mg) for a couple of years. I am taking pristiq and Wellbutrin ( 300 mg) now. Have you noticed any weight gain or sexual side effects? I have a very stressful job and have been extremely anxious and depressed. Thanks!

Everytime I get a headache, I take tylenol after eating a meal. Usually it takes about 3 hours for me to feel Tylenol's effect, in that my headache reduces. But I start feeling drowsy and sleepy, which sometimes prevents me from taking Tylenol on nights I have to stay awake to do work.
