i have been on and off cymbalta for about 4or6 years . its a nightmare to get off of, the one thing i really dread is the twinges im not sure if thats a good way to explain it, i feel like im getting an electrical schock treatment all day. i can turn my head and it happens. if someone comes up behind me to scare me it shocks my system. sorry about the non-medical terms, it obviously upsets me and makes me irritable. Am on with depakote for biploar hypo mania. Was on Geodon and too sedating, Thoughts of death. Tremors really bad treated with cogentin. then got blurred vision and urinary retention. Seroquel was excellent. Increased weight though. Not as seating as Geodon. Went to XR this past week less sedating less carb cravings. Still on both drugs and feel wonderful!

I started taking Metformin when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I started at a lower dosage twice daily and moved up to 850mg 3 years later and I haven't really had any problems with my blood sugar since then. Metformin keeps my blood sugar very stable and I am very happy with it.

When I first started Effexor (at 37.5mg), it was like a Godsend. I felt immediately like things were going to change with my life. I started to lose some of the weight I'd put on because of the depression, and my counselor and I started talking about transitioning so I wouldn't have to come in every week. Been taking Lyrica for GAD and tremors in my hands. It's the only medication that works for me. My anxiety is gone, and the tremors in my hands are gone with Lyrica. An unexpected side effect is I was able to quit smoking within four days of taking it. And I was a pack and a half a day smoker. It also relieves my severe back pain due to arthritis way better than anti-inflamatories do.

I feel like it is really drying my eyes out. I continue to drink plenty of water but I have to take it every 2 hours for the first two days and then every 4 hours for 4 days after that.
