Well i've only been taking it for a month and I have had my period for about 2 weeks now. I started it 2 weeks before i was supposed to. I usually only have cramps one day but I've had them for a week straight. I'm giving it another month to even let it even out.

I switched from Effexor (300mg) to Prestiq (100mg) and was on Prestiq for 2 weeks. It was horrible. My paranoia was horrible, felt like everyone is talking about me behind my back, even feel like one coworker is trying to get me fired. I have at least 1 panic attack a day (never used to have them so much). I'm switching over to effexor. I know that prestiq is basically the same as effexor (already broken down), but maybe my body needed to break the effexor down. I'll keep you updated as... View full comment

I was diagnosed with General Anxiety in 2003. I briefly went on Buspar and Effexor; Effexor practically put me in a fog, so I didn't end up taking it very long. In 2005 I took on employment at a call center and in 2006 began to have serious panic attacks. Needless to say, preparing to go to work each day only added to the anxiety I felt. In 2009 I knew I needed to start on some type of medication to be able to continue working. A friend recommended Pristiq, so I thought I would give it... View full comment

Initially, Wellbutrin XL definitely helped me to get through my husband's one-year navy deployment, with me having to work part-time, continue working on my Master's degree, and care for my 7 and 9 year olds alone. That was 4 1/2 years ago and I am still on Wellbutrin XL. At this time, I would say my mild depression and anxiety, plus mood swings and lack of patience, are creeping back. This makes me wonder if this drug is better in the short-term than the long-term? So I am now looking in... View full comment

I have a lot of allergies and I tend to get a rash at least once a day. When it becomes so bad that I can't stop scratching, I take the Benadryl. It works well for me and it works very very fast. I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing I don’t like is that even the non-drowsy Benadryl makes me very sleepy. But the positives weigh out the negatives in this case.
