How did it go with the gyno? There was some evidence in the trials that women who already had HPV when they got the Gardasil shot had a very significantly higher risk of developing cervical cancer. Merck shuffled the trial data to make the numbers go away - I'm sure some of the 're-dos' were legitimate, but hmmm - and got the increased risk down to where the FDA would approve it although they expressed concern. I couldn't have asked for a better med. I had tried a couple of other meds whose side effects were too bothersome and by far Lamicatal has been the best. I don't feel sedated, I've experienced almost no side effects, and I feel in control and level headed. I was very sleepy when I first started taking it but that didn't last long.
