I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen lo for most of the last several years. Side effects from that were little to none, and definitely tolerable. Cesia, however, has deprived me of any sex drive whatsoever. And even when I would become engaged in the activity with my husband, it wouldn't work... because I was completely dry. It is frustrating.

I shared my experience regarding Junel FE because it was what I went through when taking this birth control. Everyone's reaction is going to be different because no two people are the same. I do have a child, plus I had my Gallbladder removed 5 months after my c-section. So far, it seems to have helped lower my choesterol, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I was taking 10mg daily, but I was concerned about possible liver damage and requested my doctor lower the prescription to 5mg.
