Hi, 17 year old female here. I started taking Accutane 40 mg, 1 pill, every morning with breakfast about a month and a half ago, and it is working great! My skin already is smoother, softer, and less acne covered. But I am still left with the scars from my Jr. High years. For the first week or so of treatment hell yes it was awful! This medication generally makes me feel very tired, nauseated. I often feel very hot--perspire much more than ever. It is not taking care of the pain. I entered a pain management program with a phy, reccomendation for a neurostimulator for back pain. I wonder if my med was changed to make me think that anything has got to be better than this. Previously I had beem using lortab 5-no more than 2 daily along with soma--usually only once daily.

it was recomended I take this to help strengthen my bones since osteoporosis runs in my family. I did take it for some time but just having to take one a day was hard because I became forgetful.
