I have been taking the 40 mg for many years now and in the past 3 months I was told to take another 40 mg and to split it in half so that I am taking 60 mg. I did not like this as much because I would feel more comfortable taking a 60 mg pill, but since they do not make that I will see if this help my level get back in place.

Around the time I started taking Daytrana, I noticed that I was sweating more often. I took Daytrana for about 2 years. I went to my doctors and none of them could figure out why I was all of a sudden sweating so much. When my psychiatrist decided to take me off of the Daytrana, I stopped sweating. I think that the medicine is working because it helps to keep my blood pressure lower. The only problem I have is that I do not want to have sex as much as I used to.

i enjoyed the effects of ritalin, however the effects of the drug started very quickly and ended abruptly. i had a lot of mood swings during this time as well and no appetite. i also gained weight while on this medication as when i took it i had no appetite, and when i was off of the medication I overcompensated.

Wonderful for Interstitial Cystitis! I've taken this drug for 30 years with no side effects! Calms the histamines in the bladder wall. And, helps with sleep as well.

I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan.
