When I was first prescribed Solpadol, everything was fine. It treated my headaches very effectively, there was some drowiness and confusion, but that was to be expected with a strong painkiller. I have taken lithium Carbonate in different variations since 1979 for the treatment of bipolar. Each time I chose to go off it for any reason I had problems and resumed. This has by far been my saving grace to allow me to live a normal life. Any benefits far outweigh the side effects.

I feel there is a constant battle going on between my head and my stomach. My head tells me I need more food. When I open the refrigerator or the cupboard my stomach screams out "I can't take any more please help me." I can't seem to figure out when I am legitimately hungry or the drug has taken over my mind.
