Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. It's best for relieving mild pains. It does not relieve any migraine pains or pain from extensive injury. Prescription pain relievers work better for those.
