I have been taking Zoloft since August 2009. I was prescribed this medication after seeing a phychiarist due to anxiety. The anxiety was from an allergy medicine called Xyzal which was prescribed to my last April 2009. Well needless to say this allergy medication caused real bad hallucinations which caused me to go to the hospital. As stress wore down my immune system candida began to grow out of control in my body. This caused many unexplainable symptoms that the doctor could not explain. A thyroid panel came back normal yet I was having hot and cold flashes, felt very dizzy after eating, always out of breath just walking across the room and experienced anxiety attacks for the first time in my life. My depression and anxiety are much better. I haven't gained any weight as with other antidepressants. When I get aggitated or angry at something I can't seem to remain calm. I can't seem to control myself too well in these situations. I'm going to discuss this at my next Dr's Visit.

Propecia

I believe that propecia is a great drug. For me personally, I have no side effects. Even though it hasnt been 100 percent successful, I believe it has made a difference compared to other products in the market. I believe that its too expensive, one of the negatives of this drug.

Niaspan

I took one dose of this medicine, got flushed, hot and very lightheaded. Next thing I knew I was on my way to the emergency room via ambulance. The drug made me pass out. I got 16 stiches, a broken nose and 4 staples in my head from my fall. I would not recommend this medicine. Even the emergency room doctor said that this is all to common with this medicine

I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I have notices a stronger appetite and have tried to keep watch but it seems to be gaining anyhow. I am diagnosed with diabetees which I have controlled by diet. I ENDED MY PRESCRIBED 5-YEAR PERIOD OF TAKING TAMOXIFEN (100 MG PER DAY) APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR AGO. RIGHT AFTER STOPPING THE MEDICATION, I STARTED EXHIBITING SIGNS OF ELEVATED INTRACRANIAL PRESSURE OF CEREBROSPINAL FLUID (CSF). MY EYE DOCTOR NOTICED THIS DURING MY ANNUAL EYE EXAM, AND THEN SENT ME TO A NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGIST FOR MONITORING.
