It is helpful to alleviate the pain but gives me diarrhea and clogs my nose up. This may be me having an allergic reaction.

You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.

I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. Tylenol is fairly effective for me when treating headaches and other pain related problems. However, it usually takes longer to work than Excedrin or Advil. I prefer Advil over other pain relievers.

I took it for my strep throat, and while the pills were so large and difficult to take, within 24 hours i was able to tell that it was working. te down side was that i was supposed to take it for 10 days and all symptoms were one completely within 6 and 7, so i felt like i ws over medicating.
