After finding out I had Graves Disease and thyrotoxicosis in January 2010 I was put on carbimazole (think I had symptoms for nearly a year but always put them down to something else, maybe "change of life" etc) After only 6 days I had a severe allergic reaction to the carbimazole that nearly lost me my life! Vomiting, temp of 40.6c, rash all over my body that started eating into my face leaving blistered holes, my skin was yellow and my liver wasn't liking it either! My T4 was 80... View full comment

I have been on it for about a year. It is convenient and I can trust its efficacy. However, i've started keeping track of my moods, and I must say that at around the 5th-7th day of a new pack I am extremely irritable. Extremely. It seems to possess me, and every little thing sets me off. I'm talking, pure anger and rage, and I become a person i don't even recognize. When day 8 or so comes around, all that darkness is gone. It's starting to affect my relationships too, and it's very emb... View full comment

I started off taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and then the price of that birth control sky rocketed. I just started taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen (generic) and I do not even have one full month in. The first week was really rough during the transfer from Lo to normal Ortho. I had a lot of headaches and nausea.

Since beginning Celexa, I have noticed a great improvement in anxiety levels and pre-menstrual agitation prior to menstruation. It seems that I have more patience overall feel more relaxed in tense situations. I noticed the changes within two weeks of taking the medication. I am very pleased to report no side effects except for a slight decrease in appetite. I have read many reports of this drug having GI adverse effects-I have experienced none of this or any other body system changes.Would r... View full comment

My story of Candex. A couple of months ago I took Candex as recommended on the label. After about 5 days, I ballooned up 60 pounds of water weight. My immune system crashed and I caught the first illness going around, which just so happened to be the really terrible bronchitis/pneumonia thing that’s going around. I gained more weight, about 20 more pounds from this illness. It developed into walking pneumonia, but thankfully after about a month I was able to defeat this infection. I am... View full comment
