I have endometriosis and we tried several different birth control pills before my doctor recommended the Mirena device to me. It was very expensive (of course my insurance doesnt cover the device) and it was very painful when she put it in. I had irregular bleeding for the three months that I had it in me and I experienced some of the most painful cramps I had ever had in my life. I could only stand three months of it and I had to have her remove it. It was a waste of 800.00 for me.

i was advised to take the drug two weeks before my period. i am on my 16th day of my period, i have experienced headaches, bodyaches, hotflashes, nausea, vomiting and of course long periods. i have been hospitalized, the Drs did a blood test, cat scan, pap, ultra and found nothing. i had discussed my concerns and changes i was experiencing after the pill but they all say it cant be the pill as the pill is suppose to help with the period. on the 5th i go for a biopsy. my life is miserable. i k... I used this medication for my allergies and it cleared my sinuses a lot, it got rid of my stuffy nose and congestion and even the watery eyes.

It helps some, but not enough to take when there are other drugs to help with allergies. The side effects are irritating and the benefits are not enough to keep take the drug.

This is an indirect experience i would really like to share. My cousin, she takes grandpa three time a day every single day. She wont sleep without having it, so hoocked. She has been taking the drug for about 20yrs now. she is struggling from sleeping as a result she has got blemishes due to less to almost no sleep at all for days,just too bad.

Ambien is great to get a good nights sleep if you have trouble. It makes me a little groggy the next day but that doesnt last very long. The doctor told me that it isnt good for long term use though because it can be habit forming.
