I was prescribed amitryptiline after a servere breakdown and agitated depression. Vicodin was used after my wisdom teeth were removed and it relieved virtually all pain I felt and I was left with just a little sensitivity in my jaw. The only problem I had with Vicodin was that it occasionally made one pupil dialate and the other one would remain normal size.
