My doctor recommended Lantus. It is more expensive and less effective than the NPH I was taking. I was on 2 injections per day before Lanus. Now I have to take short acting insulin before each mean and Lantus before bed. I feel like a pin cushion and my blood sugars are no better. Taking the extra insulin has caused weight gain. Dear Sir Very difficult to tolerate HETRAZAN. Took course in 1976 for Eosinophilia while posted at FATEHPUR (U P )Could not complete Oral course, switched to I/M unicarbazone. Completed course but remained drowsed with side effects.Now again in 2010 taking Hetrazen from last 4 days and doused with drowsiness,dizziness,sleepy,unable to concentrate.

After 2 years it seemed like the Plaquenil was no longer working. My Rheumatologist switched me to Azathioprine but I had an allergic reaction to it. I am now back on Plaquenil and it seems to be working again along with Prednisone.
