Around the time I started taking Daytrana, I noticed that I was sweating more often. I took Daytrana for about 2 years. Fascinating side effect! Did you talk to your doctor about it? A study last year did find that cytomegalovirus (CMV), a very common viral infection that affects nearly everyone by the age of 40, does in fact cause high blood pressure in some lab mice, especially in conjunction with a high cholesterol diet. I was prescribed Promethazine after I got my wisdom teeth pulled and was given Percocet and vomited. I also felt naseous after taking pain medicaiton (especially since I was unable to eat much with the medication due to having oral surgery). The Promethazine was amazing because it stopped the nausea and vomiting. It also made me very tired but I didn't mind because it was nice being asleep while I was in pain. prescribed for compound fracture of left radius and ulna...caused severe nausea...discontinued use...started using as a pain killer before endurance sport training...far too addictive to continue...threw away remainder of prescription

I have endometriosis and we tried several different birth control pills before my doctor recommended the Mirena device to me. It was very expensive (of course my insurance doesnt cover the device) and it was very painful when she put it in. I had irregular bleeding for the three months that I had it in me and I experienced some of the most painful cramps I had ever had in my life. I could only stand three months of it and I had to have her remove it. It was a waste of 800.00 for me.

This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. After having my large intestine/colon removed, this drug has given me the opportunity to enjoy life and not always be looking for the restroom...let alone go camping, etc. Also 'quiets' the gurgling noises.
