This medication relieved the pain but as a side effect irritability and slight mood changes were noticed and it became slightly addicting, so it wasnt taken anymore to avoid these effects.

I was put on Lyrica for fibromyalgia. I started out on a very low dose since I don't handle meds very well. 25 mg once a day for two days, then 50 mg for two days, then 75 mg for two days, then 100 mg for two days. On the day after I took 75mg (I took the pills at night) I started bleeding! I am post menopause. Haven't had a period in over 16 months. Now I'm having a hard time. Well of course I stopped taking it, it almost killed me, if I wasn't actually dead for short periods. I was in total paralysis, having hallucinations that the walls were aglow with fire, and thinking that the toxic fumes from the (Non-existant) fire were keeping me from being able to move.Thinking that if I could only force myself to move I might snap out of it and escape, but I couldn't.Then the voices started, telling me I was already dead and why should I fight it anymore?Horrible, lasting... Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana.
