Unfortunately Microgestin Fe has caused me to have bloating and irregular stool, breakouts and a change in skin type from normal to Oily, extreme gas, stomach cramping that lasts weeks at a time, I have not had weight gain but my body does appear to be swollen (not only to the sight but to the touch), fatigue. I do not recommend this drug.

My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. My finances are under control (because I can focus on taking care of bills as opposed to forgetting about them and then getting anxious), my work is a thousand times better and I am a lot more confident because my ADHD is being managed. I love Yaz- since being on Yaz, my overall moods have become more stable, and my appetite has become more regular. However, I still notice a significant change about a week prior to my period. I crave starchy, sugary foods, and I still get extremely tearful and emotional.

I do seem to have suffered from more side effects this episode but I was having to take the drops half hourly for a week and then hourly each day and night for 2 weeks before weaning down to 3 times a day now.

Celebrex worked amazingly. I was completely pain free while taking it. The only negative side effect I experienced was waking up with swollen hands every morning. The swelling would last approx. 1 1/2 hours. But it was painful and I could not bend my fingers. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking Celebrex due to a sensitivity to Sulpha drugs which gives me hives.
