I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. At first it really helped with lowering my cholesterol but as time went on, i began to have really bad pains in my arms. when i stopped taking it, i couldnt even move it was so bad.

I am very disappointed with Gelnique. Doesn't give me any relief. Will go back to taking Oxybunin Chloride Tablets. They don't work perfectly but much better than Detrol or Toviaz which don't work at all. I have suffered from Urge Incontinence all my life and it is a most frustrating, embarassing condition. And it is $69.00 after my prescription insurance pays. Tablets are much cheaper but more dry mouth and other side effects.
