I found it to be counterproductive. At first it seemed to help my anxiety but eventually it caused depression bringing on further anxiety.

It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. I take Loestrin mainly as birth control rather than to relieve irregular periods. It's been an effective birth control but it can give me occasional cramping and abdominal pains.

Started taking the medicine for malaria for a deployment to Afghanistan. About three weeks into the regiment, started to have vivid and unique dreams that were often violent in nature. This was a side effect but did not bother me. In fact I enjoyed the dreams a lot. I continued to take mefloquine and eventually stopped after I was back in the states. I never got malaria but my buddy got it and he was taking the same amount I got.

Before I started, my cramps were unbearable, I missed school because of it. I went to the doctor about it and they told me about this pill and I began taking it. I have no more cramps and it's really nice not having to worry about your period. It comes every three months and you control when your period happens.
