I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage. I feel that Trazadone has helped me being more positive in day to day living. I don't think about committing suicide and i don't feel like i am a waste of space. I have had Trazadone in the past and requested these again from my doctor,as i feel there are not as many side effects as many of the other anti depressants. I would recommend these tablets to anyone who feels like they would be better off not living.

My doctor recommended Lantus. It is more expensive and less effective than the NPH I was taking. I was on 2 injections per day before Lanus. Now I have to take short acting insulin before each mean and Lantus before bed. I feel like a pin cushion and my blood sugars are no better. Taking the extra insulin has caused weight gain. Topamax has really helped me. It has stopped my Neuralgia pain completely. Since taking it I have not had any Neuralgia pain. The only thing is that it make my memory a little slower.
