I switched from Arimidex to Aromasin because of extreme joint pain. During the first three years on Aromasin, I suffered from hot flashes and insomnia. The last two years the hot flashes are only occasional and the insomnia is a little better. I get tired easily, but considering the benefits against breast cancer, I can put up with it. How is it possible that product starts to cause severe stomach cramps, bloating within half-an-hour of intake, cause a debilitating abdomenal pain on its way to intestines, and triggers a strong diarhea within one-to two hours of intake? If this is due to Hexheimer Reaction - should I assume die-off reaction starts while Candex is in stomach? Is there candida in stomach as well?

My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. This is great med for my frequent headache. I have not experience any side effect since I have been taking tylenol. I only take this as needed. I would recommend this drug for people with occasional headache.
