Taking diamox for IIH. Along with the diamox and losing weight, my eye pressure has gone down and my field vision is better, still have a blurry spot in vision due to nerve damage. Swollen eye disc has reduced and no hemmoraging now in optic nerves. I have experienced mild to severe tingling and stabbing pains in hands/feet and now taking Potassium pill, since I'm pre-diabetic and can't eat a banana each day as recommended by Dr. Potassium levels look good and the direction is one of heal... I like the fact that you only have a period every 3 months & i have not had any irregular bleeding, although i have severe headaches, my appetite is worse ( im never hungry ), and i have severe pains around my ovaries. Sex drive has increased but my mood swings kinda ruin that one. Im not very satisfied with this product and im highly considering switching to something else.

I took Atenolol for years to treat cogenital chronic tachycardia (basically, my heart beats too fast). When I got pregnant, I was switched to Labetalol. Virtually no side-effects, which was a definate improvement over Atenolol. I have been taking it for 7 years now, and am quite pleased with it.

This drug is efficient but it causes fatigue. In addition, I have to make lab exams regularly and it is expensive. I would not recoemment it to a user.
