Since taking Lipitor, I am experiencing severe muscle pain in both legs ( along the tibia and the femur). I am unable to climb more than three or four stairs without holding to the guard rail. Hard to stand up after sitting on a chair. I have severe knee pains. Pain in my right shoulder. I feel tired all day long.

First few days I was going to quit taking it. I wasn't noticing much of a difference in general hip and back pains. But then I noticed that I didn't have trouble getting something off of the floor. After being made hypothyroid due to RAI treatment, I still feel that levothyroxine can do a better job of affecting the emotional and psychological side of treatment, too. At this time I feel that it doesn't work well with all areas of hypothyroidism's effects.
