My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. difficult to ascribe side effects to specific drug from other drugs taken e.g. simvastatin,lansoprazole, aspirin 75 mg.or for that matter from advancing age (75 yrs.)
