My 16 year old daughter is also suffering from the Gardasil nightmare! She received her first shot on January 9th, 2009, after her doctor practically pushed it down our throats! We were told it was safe and effective and they made me feel that if I didnt get this vaccine for my daughter, that I basically was a bad mom! the pil has been affective. I took it for about 8 or 9 years. I am no longer on it and have had my colesterol checked and my HDL was low and I have read articles that says that may be due to the birth control pill.
