I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good.
