01 Nov 2011 Midrin is the only drug that has helped me for my severe migraines. However I have experience memory loss, bald spot and dry eyes. Don't know if any of these could be related side affects to Midrin. Since Midrin is no longer available don't know what other alternatives there are for Midrin. Have tried various other drugs. Only Midrin helped.

21 Dec 2009 Midrin was wonderful, but I grew out of it. According to my doctor, it really only works for kids and teens. It didn't always help with the full blown migraine, but it did wonders if taken at onset. I did experience a lot of nausea, but as long as I took the medication with food (hard to do with a migraine), it wasn't so bad.
