paracetamol does not do anything! i can never feel any difference than before taking it, but maybe it does kind of stop my nose running and relieves me from coughing, other than that, i do not take paracetamol for any other reason.

This drug is a poison. It causes the conditions it's supposed to prevent. I never had a problem with flushing or redness before taking this. I had one broken blood vessel and that was it. Since taking it my face turned into a burning mess, and my lips are still messed up (I have to put vaseline on them about 5 times a day every day), and I don't sweat out of my face as much. Naproxen aka Aleve is probably the most effective drug, for me, to cure a headache. Be cautious when taking on an empty stomach. Not the best for ache and pain relief (I prefer ibuprofen), but an overall effective medication with very few side effects.
