I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I started taking it a few months ago, and the only real side effects I'm seeing is fatigue and about a week before my period I get very bad headaches. Other than that, no problems! My sister on the other hand, gained at least 15-20 pounds instantly and would get very dizzy and disoriented before her period. She had to change to Femcom.

I have been on Levora for almost two years now and I have had major hair loss. I used to have large poofy extremely thick hair which i hated before.. But now that Its gone, I'd say about 30% loss I miss it so much. Im also not sure if this is a direct side effect but I get a sensitive scalp as well.
