I am experiencing a severe skin reaction. All of face and upper chest area ( exposed to daylight ) is a very pinky/red . The affected skin area is tingly and feels as though it has been burnt. I have been to my GP who prescribed Hayleve which I took for 3days and the redness subsided . On stopping the 4mg 4x day the condition is recurring. Hey, I am starting to think about the side-effects of Depakine in the long term - the slowdown of brain fucntion, hair-loss, later kidney and liver demage and concentration. I am only 28 now, was 25 at the first episode. And I am really aware of the long-term slowdown of the brain.
