I had just started to try antidepressants. I was first described the generic brand of Wellbutrin XL by Tevic. I had less pain almost immediately after starting on the low dose. I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better. I have only been taking Pristiq for 5 days, I have noticed a change for the better in my overall mood. I love that I have no appetite, as I really need to loose some weight. But the nausea is really bad and I have blurred vision which really bothers me. Also, I feel like I can get to sleep faster than usual, but I wake up early and can't get back to sleep. I am going to give it atleast a couple of weeks and hope that the nausea and blurred vision get better.
